Industrial park, Schwerin
Infrastructure development for a 380-hectare site
“Industriepark Schwerin”, a major industrial park in the city of Schwerin, has an area of approximately 380 hectares, making it one of the biggest facilities of its kind in northern Germany. After a number of aerospace industry supply companies had settled there, the food giant Nestle opened Europe’s largest and most modern plant there in 2014. Inros Lackner was responsible for the coordination of health and safety issues during the plant construction phase. In parallel, additional internal industrial park services were developed, with Inros Lackner professionally designing the transport facilities (with roads of total length approximately 3 km) and all water supply and wastewater disposal facilities.
