Torsten Retzlaff participates in Wind Energy Network, Rostock, and the German association for geotechnical engineering (DGfG). He also serves on the committee for waterfront structures (EAU) of the port technology association (HTG) and is authorised to submit construction documents in the Chamber of Engineers of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. After studying civil engineering, he worked as a site manager at Dyckerhoff & Widmann AG in Hamburg, among other positions. He has been head of the hydraulic engineering department at Inros Lackner since 1997, and has been a member of the Management Board since 2014.
