Investment in solar energy

Rostock and Bremen, February 2026: Climate protection and sustainability are more than just buzzwords for us – they are an integral part of our corporate culture. That is why we continuously invest in measures that reduce our ecological footprint. An important step in this direction is the installation of modern photovoltaic systems at our offices in Rostock and Bremen. We are glad to promote the use of renewable energy sources in this way, while reducing our need for external energy.

Together, the photovoltaic systems (total output approx. 128 kWp) at both locations – Rostock and Bremen – will generate approximately 104,800 kWh of electricity per year. This would meet the annual electricity needs of around 30 average households, and will enable us to cover approximately 60 per cent of our own needs with self-generated renewable energy. The annual CO₂ savings will amount to around 54 tonnes, making a significant contribution to climate protection.
