„Nest Baby Village“ in Nairobi
The ‘Nest Baby Village’ infant home, which opened in 2014, provides space for up to 25 abandoned or neglected babies aged 0 to 2 years. This non-profit institution provides vital support for infants who need special care and attention due to their precarious life circumstances. Medical care is also provided for the children here.
Thanks to the advocacy of a supporter, our non-profit association INROS LACKNER hilft learnt that the home's photovoltaic system, which among other uses ensures an ongoing power supply for the medicine refrigerators, was no longer working. In addition to replacing the defective technical components, we also organised the repair and refurbishment of the system. INROS LACKNER hilft financed all these measures.
“On all our projects, whether contracted or voluntary, we work to make the world a better place. That's what drives us, especially when we can contribute to a better future for children”, explained Dr Klaus Richter, company director of Inros Lackner SE, who was involved in the implementation on site on behalf of the INROS LACKNER hilft association.
