New headquarters in India

Faridabad/Delhi, August 2026: Inros Lackner has strengthened its presence in India with the opening of a new office in Faridabad/Delhi, located in the National Capital Region (NCR). The new location complements the existing office in Thane/Mumbai and will serve as the headquarters of Inros Lackner India. Situated close to key ministries, infrastructure authorities, public institutions and private clients, the Faridabad/Delhi office provides an excellent foundation for further growth in a dynamic infrastructure market.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of Inros Lackner’s management team from Germany, the Indian team and other guests. Among those present were Ingo Aschmann, Chairman of Inros Lackner SE, Dr Klaus Richter, Executive Director, and Oliver Schwarz, Head of the Bremen office. As part of the ceremony, they received a traditional mark on the forehead and a ceremonial scarf, symbols of blessing, protection and hospitality.

Akshat Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Inros Lackner India, brings nearly two decades of international leadership experience in infrastructure and strategic business development, with a focus on transport, water and energy sectors. Speaking at the opening ceremony, he highlighted the importance of the new location for the company’s continued development in India: “The opening of our Faridabad office provides us with the opportunity to further strengthen our local capabilities and to connect them even more closely with the expertise of our international teams. We have recently been awarded delivering one of the largest Greenfield shipyard engineering and project management contracts in India.”
