New Onshore power supply system

Environmentally friendly electricity for different types of ships: In September, the new onshore power supply system in Kiel's Ostuferhafen port was officially inaugurated with the first-ever system of its kind for the MSC Cruises ship "Euribia". The innovative facility can simultaneously meet the needs of cruise ships and Ro-Ro vessels in the port, using 100%-green power. The Inros Lackner team was responsible for the planning and design, the preparation of tender documentation and the contract award process. It also provided construction supervision services during the implementation phase. The expertise acquired by the employees on previous projects in the field of onshore power supply systems played a significant role in enabling them to contribute to the project’s success.
