Opening ferry terminal
Significant event in Lübeck: The ceremonial opening of the 5PLUS ferry terminal took place at the end of September, marking another important milestone in the city's maritime infrastructure. This jetty was specially developed for the latest generation of RoRo ships in the Baltic Sea and has a width of 38.50 meters. Inros Lackner successfully accompanied the project at Skandiavienkai as general planner with a team of specialist engineers in the fields of hydraulic engineering, civil engineering, tendering and awarding as well as construction supervision.
The commissioning will not only increase the efficiency of shipping traffic, but also further strengthen Lübeck's position as an important hub for trade and tourism. In addition, under the leadership of a team of hydraulic engineers and electrical engineers from Inros Lackner SE, the shore power supply is currently being further expanded to make the port future-oriented.
