Development of infrastructure and superstructure in Kenya

Port of Mombasa

For more than a decade, we have been a trusted partner of the Kenyan Port Authority and of other clients, supporting the rehabilitation, development and expansion of Mombasa's port infrastructure. Inros Lackner is involved in the planning and implementation of infra and superstructure projects to increase the capacity and efficiency of the port - one of the central hubs for shipping traffic in East Africa.

As part of the latest project, Inros Lackner is advising on the dredging, the deepening and widening of the access channel and the harbour basin. This challenging project is being carried out in close cooperation with BAC Engineering Services, an established local company in Kenya. In September, Inros Lackner employees visited the harbour together with BAC Engineering Services and met with other project participants. These measures are necessary to make the harbour accessible for larger ships and to strengthen its international importance.
