ADAC Headquarters, Hamburg

In the construction of this 7-storey administration building for ADAC (the General German Automobile Club), with integrated underground parking and connecting testing centre, the most modern and environmentally friendly energy technologies (such as geothermal, concrete core climate control and solar) were used. The ground floor has an aluminium mullion-transom façade with automatic doors, while the façade elements of the upper levels form a scale-like double-façade. The cladding strips between each level consist of enamelled glass (Delogcolor) with hidden fixings. The underground parking has two levels, with spaces for 115 vehicles.
