The bustling metropolis of Phnom Penh is growing rapidly, with accompanying development of its central area. Close to the centre, the architects and engineers of Inros Lackner Vietnam and Inros Lackner Cambodia have played a key role, from the design stage to site supervision, in the construction of the new “Residence 90” development. The highquality development on a property of area 2.7 hectares was carefully designed to meet the residents’ requirements. A particular challenge was the need to maximise the use of space and the quality of life in this tight urban setting. The building complex is bordered by a government building, residential and commercial areas, and two main roads. Its special location and its design combine tranquillity with urban convenience. In addition to the various living space solutions it offers, the development also includes a children‘s playground, a common space with BBQ facilities, a clubhouse and a swimming pool area. In 2018, the project was awarded the “Best Residential Architectural Design” prize in Cambodia in an architectural competition across all of Asia.
