HUMBOLDT FORUM, BERLIN

Challenging technical building equipment project

The new Humboldt Forum is the rebuilt Berlin Palace in the direct vicinity of Museum Island. The historic new building for culture and science is of international significance. For the Inros Lackner Technical Building Services team, it was the largest specialist planning project for ventilation systems in the company's history. Inros Lackner was responsible in the service phases 1 to 4 for the planning of the media development in the outdoor facilities, the sanitary, heating, room air and refrigeration technology, the conveying technology and the building automation. In addition, the technical project controlling and construction supervision for the ventilation and air-conditioning trade was supervised. A particular challenge, especially for the complex ventilation concept, was the different usage requirements for the library, administration, research, museums and event rooms.
