Hall “A Maree”, Mauritania
Focus on sustainable fishing industry
Inros Lackner is responsible in consortium with Cofrepeche for the modernisation of the traditional fishing port of Nouadhibou, the second largest city in Mauritania. The main component of this project is the construction of a new modern fish auction hall. It will provide much better protection from heat, sand, insects and toxins with all the necessary services (e.g. fresh water, ice and electricity) and uninterrupted product transfer between the boats and the auction hall. The modernisation also includes the expansion of the local infrastructure. The project exemplifies the cooperation between the German offices of Inros Lackner and the international locations in Togo, Vietnam and Cambodia.
