Technical Centre, Brandenburg

A site with former industrial halls belonging to the Oder-Spree district was developed for various uses. On the property in Fürstenwalde, a hall became, among other things, a modern training and exercise centre for the THW and for fire, civil and disaster protection. This includes administration, exercise and repair sections as well as the vehicle fleet. In the immediate vicinity, the Archive, Reading and Media Centre (ALM) has moved into an expanded hall. Due to the proximity of the two halls, the users complement each other in the use of the premises, e.g. in the use of seminar rooms. Inros Lackner was commissioned as general planner for the conversion and redesign of the halls.
