The new Institute for "Supramolecular Functional Architectures at Biological Interfaces (SupraFAB)" is located on a total floor space of approx. 3,600 m². Here, scientists from the departments of biology, chemistry, pharmacy and physics at Freie Universität Berlin work together on an interdisciplinary basis. Highly specialised research laboratories, low-vibration and defined air-conditioned measuring rooms with storage areas as well as office, meeting and recreation rooms were integrated into the building. The construction project is being part-financed with public money.
