Leibniz Institute for Catalysis, Rostock
Construction of new building, Construction phases 1 to 4
On the campus of the University of Rostock, a new institute building has been constructed in several phases, with the final phase still ongoing. The four-storey building has no basement, but has a top level of smaller area, set back from the façade. Much of the building is devoted to laboratory work, with work stations, preparation areas and evaluation rooms. Office and administration space, seminar and lecture rooms and workshops are also provided. Due to their main function for preparative and analytical laboratory work, the facilities have a particularly high degree of installation density.
