Wind farm, MV

The necessary environmental planning documents were prepared for the Gägelow wind farm in the district of Nordwestmecklenburg. The wind farm is designed for 23 wind turbines. In the course of the planning process, initially 18 and later a further turbine were submitted for approval. Challenges were the conflict solutions in the protection of species and the protection of human beings (sound and shadow impact). In cooperation with the client, the conflicts were resolved with adjustments to the wind farm design and additional measures.
