Railroad station bridge, Lübeck

Inner-city connection via Fackenburger Allee

The 7-span steel composite bridge in Fackenburger Allee was completed in 1907. After more than 115 years of intensive use, a new replacement was needed that could withstand the current traffic. Fackenburger Allee with the bridge over the Deutsche Bahn AG railway tracks is an important inner-city transport link to the A1 motorway for the Hanseatic City of Lübeck. In addition to the main axis, the junctions with the adjacent roads will also be adapted. This complex task was implemented in several planning steps with temporary bridges and diversion routes together with the technical planning and the environmental documents for the planning approval were prepared. In addition, the landscape management measures were accompanied.
