The scope of planning includes the preparation of the necessary environmental documents in accordance with the requirements of DB AG as well as support for the planning approval procedure. Special features arose with regard to species protection requirements for the track upgrade and the dismantling of a signal box. The implementation of species protection-relevant avoidance measures (checking for the presence of sand lizards, bats, avifauna) in the selected areas was carried out during the procedure. The impact was balanced in the LBP in accordance with the Federal Compensation Ordinance, taking into account the replacement measure for the conversion of farmland into rows of trees and copses.
