Hof-Plauen Airport, Bavaria
Development of airfield

Inros Lackner played a role in the development of the Hof-Plauen airfield in Bavaria into a regional airport. For the construction of a new runway, various alternatives were considered and compared in the framework of the applicable regional planning procedure. The most suitable option was submitted, as a preferred solution, for planning approval. Optimisations to this option enabled the impacts on nature and the environment to be further minimised, with some noise reductions achieved. The comprehensive environmental and landscape planning proposals were discussed in detail with the responsible authorities, and recorded in scoping documents.
