SuedOstLink, Germany
The SuedOstLink is around 540 kilometres long and stretches from Wolmirstedt near Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt to the Isar site near Landshut in Bavaria. It is intended to transport electricity in extra-high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission from the north-east to the south of Germany. 50Hertz is responsible for the implementation in the regions of Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia. Inros Lackner was commissioned with the planning of decentralised construction site access roads and logistics areas for the cabling. At the same time, against the background of the expected high construction site traffic, combined with the use of public traffic routes, structural engineering measures are required on roads and paths. The use of roads beyond everyday use must be prepared in terms of construction technology and planned ready for implementation.
