Filstalbahn railway line upgrade, Baden-Württemberg

The Filstalbahn railway line between Stuttgart and Ulm is undergoing comprehensive technical modernisation as part of a corridor upgrade project. Key objectives include the renewal of tracks, structures and overhead contact lines to sustainably increase the performance and reliability of this heavily used route. Our planning and design work is focussed on the modernisation of stations and stops along the line, including improving accessibility for people with disabilities. The goal is to increase comfort and significantly improve the overall experience of the travelling public. Overall, the project aims to modernise key high-performance corridors across the rail network, sustainably improving the punctuality and reliability of the railway services.
