Railway connection to a sea port, Russia
Tracks for a container terminal

In the framework of the development of port infrastructure and adaptation to international standards, a maritime trade port was established in the north-west of Russia. Inros Lackner’s involvement on this project, relating to the provision of land-side connectivity for the predominantly reclaimed terminal area, included the design of a six-track stabling zone spanned by gantry crane facilities and of a bypass track. The total length of track is 1,050 m. The facility was connected to a train station, which required to be modified accordingly.
