Barracks property, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
Complex provision of services for change of use

Under the German Army’s ongoing reform programme, the barracks that is known as “Mecklenburgische Schweiz” in the town of Stavenhagen is to be closed. Some parts of the military property have already been adapted, in 2006, for non-military purposes, but the central area remains in service until mid-2016. Now, the transformation of the entire property into a commercial area is being planned. All construction work relating to the complete provision of new infrastructure on the property is to take place immediately after the army leaves, or, if agreed, already during the transition phase. Inros Lackner is supplying engineering services in relation to the complex task of providing services infrastructure for the part of the 61-hectare premises that is still being used for military purposes.
