Pier 5, Luebeck

The infrastructural heart of Skandinavienkai are the ferry berths, which enable the handling of ships in different designs. The Lübeck Port Authority decided to expand jetty 5 in order to meet the requirements of the shipping companies with regard to increasing ship sizes. Inros Lackner was responsible for the extensive planning services as well as the local construction management in the partnering procedure. With the commissioning in June 2023, ships with a length of up to 250 m and a width of 38 m can be handled at a fixed jetty at Skandinavienkai. In addition, the jetty will be equipped with a shore power system. Inros Lackner is responsible for the technical support.
