Masterplan Coastline, Togo
The infrastructural development of the coastal strip has been a focus of the Togolese government for several years. Within the framework of a comprehensive investment plan, programs have been created that take into account the existing challenges related to progressive coastal erosion, the effects of climate change, flooding, and pollution from marine and land sources. Inros Lackner Togo was commissioned by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport to prepare a master plan covering a total area of 936 km². In order to analyze the current situation as well as the challenges, an orthographic survey of the project area was carried out using a drone. The aim of the master plan is to identify challenges, plan development measures and define action strategies for possible future scenarios.
