Port of Hörnum, Sylt

The basic structure of the harbour in the municipality of Hörnum on Sylt was built as early as 1935 and was last renovated almost 50 years ago. The municipality's goal is to develop the only commercially used harbour on the island of Sylt into an attractive public place for tourism and business.

The redevelopment offers the opportunity to create new meeting places in addition to repairing the harbour facilities. Inros Lackner was commissioned by the municipality of Hörnum with the general planning for the expansion and modernisation of the harbour. In a first step, the clarification of the considerable financing requirements is an important aspect for the further success of the project. Together with the municipality, the aim is to realise the construction as quickly as possible.
