CPTu Crawler
New technology for geotechnical exploration
Inros Lackner Cambodia has expanded its expertise in the field of geotechnical exploration with new technology. The innovative 200 kN double-cylinder piezocone crawler sets new standards in the collection of soil data for various civil engineering applications. Thanks to its hydraulic power, the sensor can be inserted into the ground automatically and at a constant speed, continuously measuring key parameters such as cone tip resistance, dynamic pore pressure and skin friction. This data enables immediate recording and the creation of a continuous electronic profile of the soil condition.
The crawler can be used for a wide range of applications, from determining the pile bearing capacity to analysing the settlement behaviour of the soil. The compact design and powerful hydraulics make the vehicle particularly suitable for rapid soil investigations, especially in soft soils. The introduction of the CPTu crawler promises to improve the efficiency and accuracy of soil investigations in various application areas:
Integrated construction planning: accurate soil data enables efficient planning and execution of construction projects, resulting in time and cost savings.
Infrastructure & Environment: Accurate soil characterisation is crucial for the development of sustainable infrastructure projects and environmental protection.
Structural design and building assessment: Knowledge of soil properties is essential for structural design and the assessment of buildings for stability and safety.
Geotechnical design and testing: The CPTu crawler enables detailed geotechnical design and testing, fundamental to the success of construction projects.
Topographic, hydrographic and oceanographic surveys: The data collected can also be used for surveying to gain a comprehensive understanding of terrain conditions.
Project and construction management: The CPTu crawler helps to shorten project times and optimise construction processes by quickly and precisely recording ground data.
