Yusufu Swaibu Yusufu, Director Engineering

With over three decades of professional experience in civil and structural engineering, I have dedicated my career to shaping and delivering major infrastructure projects across Tanzania and the wider region. I am a registered Consulting Engineer in Tanzania and a certified FIDIC adjudicator, combining technical expertise with a comprehensive understanding of international contracting frameworks and dispute resolution. I specialise in the design, site investigations, and supervision of major infrastructure projects, including roads, railways, ports, airports, and water systems.Throughout my career, I have held senior leadership positions—including Project Director, Resident Engineer, and Contract Specialist—each role allowing me to contribute to the successful delivery of complex, large-scale developments.

Currently, I am involved in design review and construction supervision at Tanga Airport, the detailed design of Wete Port, and the rehabilitation of berths 5 to 7 at the Port of Dar es Salaam. Through this work, I continue to contribute to strengthening critical infrastructure and supporting sustainable development across the region.
