Fatoumata F. F. Balde, Head of Quality, Hygiene, Safety and Environment (QHSE)

I have been working as an environmental engineer at Inros Lackner Togo since July 2022. My focus is on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and the control and monitoring of infrastructure projects - on land, in harbours, on rivers and on the coast. With a background in environmental and landscape planning and a master’s degree in physical geography, I have experience in public works projects and HSE issues (hygiene, safety, environment). I have worked on projects such as the modernisation of the port of Cotonou, coastal protection at Aného and the restoration of the Gbaga canal. 

I am currently involved in the stabilisation of the Roy estuary and the environmental monitoring of dredging works. My aim is to minimise the environmental and social impacts of our projects in a sustainable manner while contributing to their safe and effective implementation.
